Adventure Time - VR Demo (2016)
A non-profit and fan-made personal study developed together with friends, based on the Adventure Time animated series.
Serving as a playground to test new cross-media techniques we made this environment to explore and interact with objects in the scene using the Oculus SDK 2 VR-headsets, mobile apps, 360 videos and a desktop application.

A cross-media studyFor this project I've done the Unity environment design and setup, preparing and optimizing the 3D Models made by Emerson Rosa and programming the desktop and mobile version as well as the 360 video rendering.
The VR programming was made with the help of João Amadeu, who experimented with the Oculus SDK 2 and later the first generation of the Vive Headsets. A simple and fun project that served as a foundation for us to later develop richer VR projects and immersive experiences professionally. What's next?Currently we've been reviving this project together with Matheus Braga to enable it to be playable on the web-browser by anyone, no downloads or installs required.
Using the newest ThreeJS technologies, the project is available be experienced on the link below: |
